Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released official notification for PGT Computer Science Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. 23/2026. Through this recruitment, HPSC fill 1672 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts in Government Schools of Haryana under Rest of Haryana and Mewat Cadres. The online application process started from 16 February 2026 and open till 09 March 2026. Candidate must be HTET / STET pass to be eligible for submitting online form.
This recruitment is being conducted as per Haryana State Education School Cadre (Group-B) Service Rules, 2012. Selection is to be done through Screening Test, Subject Knowledge Test, and Interview. - Visit the official website hpsc.gov.in Apply Online page for PGT Computer Science (Advt. No. 23/2026) using above link.
- Complete New Registration using your name, mobile number, and email ID and then Login using Registration ID and Password received.
- Fill online application form carefully with personal, educational, and contact details and Upload scanned copies of Photograph, Signature, Educational and Category certificate (as applicable). Verify all entered details before final submission and then Pay the application fee through any online modes. Click on Final Submit button.
- Download and print filled HPSC PGT CS Application Form & Fee Receipt. Sign on it and Reupload signed application form.
Important details of HPSC PGT Notification 2026:
- Biometric Attendance Requires Aadhaar / VID:
- Candidates must carry Aadhaar Number or Virtual ID (VID) for biometric attendance verification at exam centers. Without Aadhaar/VID, biometric verification may fail.
- Signed Application Upload is Mandatory (After Payment). After paying fee, candidates must download filled form, Sign it, then upload it again online. If signed copy is not uploaded, their application is auto-rejected.
- This HPSC PGT CS Recruitment 2026 has 33% Horizontal Reservation for Women (All Categories).
- If you apply for both Rest of Haryana and Mewat Cadre then You must choose preference. If you don’t choose, then Rest of Haryana = 1st preference and Mewat = 2nd preference (automatically).
- Post-Closing date Certificates are invalid forever. Any certificate issued after 09 March 2026 will not be accepted. Marks improvement after closing date is also ignored.
- Consistent Good Academic Record means Minimum 50% average in any 3 exams from 10th 12th Graduation and Post Graduation But PG must still have 55% minimum.
- BC-A / BC-B / EWS certificates must be based on income of FY 2024–25. This certificate must be issued after 01 April 2025 till 31 March 2026. Older certificates will be rejected. Creamy layer of these categories will be treated as general.
- Married women applying under reservation, their Husband-side certificate is not valid. Only Father-side certificate allowed.
- If you submit multiple forms for HPSC PGT CS Recruitment 2026, Only highest/latest Application No. accepted and Old forms will be ignored and Fees not transferred.
